Matthew 7, 21-27

True disciples

21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to me that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name drive out demons in your name perform many miracles in your name? 23 I will declare to them, I have never known: depart from me, you evildoers.

24 then who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on rock. 25 The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, it was founded on the rock. 26 everyone who hears these words of mine and not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. 27 The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was its fall. " Word of the Lord

The end of the Sermon on the Mount and the example of two houses - We are in the end of the Sermon on the Mount of the Sermon on the Mount of our Lord Jesus Christ, the most bombastic speech that the Gospels bring us back and this is precisely the closure. And the two parties just seem moderately continuous. Start the Gospel saying: " 21 Not everyone who says Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven" and then instead of talking, after remarked that there will be some who will believe in, but may not enter, here, at this point, we speak of these two houses. The man who listens and who does them is the one that builds on the stone, Instead the listener and not a doer is the one who builds on sand. There. What does this mean and what is the outcome of these two houses?

will come a day when you will pull accounts - First we must remember that Jesus is speaking of a future " will enter the kingdom of heaven!" . Someone. Who? In that day " Which day? There will come a day when you pull the bill. There will come a day when it will come out who was believed to be a Christian and Christian was not. Who even has worked wonders, drove out demons in Christ's name. We're talking about people who have done much good. People who have helped the Church, who have also made very important works. They say that in heaven we will have many surprises and maybe find someone who thinks very much back on and vice versa. Because God knows the truth but that truth comes out at some point. It is a truth with which they sort it out at some point, because there will come a time when it slams against the truth.

unexpectedly Jesus can say to someone "I've never met!" - comes Jesus who says: " I never knew you! "Word very strong. It means they were not intimate. Get away from me, ye who work iniquity! But as a prophet in the name of Christ, cast out demons and perform miracles, can actually be the work of iniquity? What do you mean? In itself, they certainly are good works, but there are those who have the guilt within, that everything they do get dirty. But how do you see this? How do I see if a person does something good that is objectively good, but his heart is dirty, filthy, filthy, unpresentable? Only God knows. But how do we understand this thing here?

The example of two houses - And here is the example here, which ends around the Sermon on the Mount. Stop All that we heard at this time, in recent weeks on the Beatitudes. We are confronted with this image of the two houses. A house is built on the rock, the other not. The sand is the foundation. Let's have a question. The two houses, as they are outside? Perhaps they are identical, perhaps are very similar. The foundation is not seen. The foundation is not visible to the naked eye. It is the foundation, is hidden, is below. When you see that? One thing we have to relate to this text is that the rivers, winds, rains, killed on both houses. Not that there's a house, since it is built on sand instead of being massacred, and that is not on the rock! No, no. Winds, rivers, rain, come on both houses. Such is life. It will be the last day, the day of destruction, the last day of life when we must give an account of what we do, but it will be many times. In our life there's this destabilization, these attacks, these attacks, that life touches us and makes us see "But where are you based? That thou hast there? But you do what you carry in the soul? But where is the very basis of your existence? "Here is the point.

The stress test is used to expose what is in the heart - As you can see a leading operator of iniquity iniquity in my heart? From how you react to certain situations of emergency. When a person has to choose a spouse has to assess whether this man who is approaching, it is worthwhile or not to take with him an adventure leading to marriage. See how it reacts to the stress test. See how they react to the serious evidence of life. When we have to see if a person who did care about your heart muscle is better, if your heart is better, they make do stress test. They do this ride because he gets to extremes. "Let's see how it reacts ! Let's see if you are good! " are the extreme situations that make us see. How we react under pressure? Under twenty? The winds sweep over everything.

We need wind, rivers and rain that fell on us to prepare us to grasp the truth about ourselves- And if the winds and rivers where they fall on the life, you take away everything you need to take away. What you take away what you do not stand up. We must bless God when life is difficult, because I stanerĂ  this difficulty, I will in truth, because what is fake in me is useless for me to defend it. It is useless that I'm there I'm trying to prove I'm fine, I'm good, are well founded. But if you are not well founded, the life you can not deceive. Life asks questions, raises in certain situations that are providential, because a collapse if it has to collapse. It is better to collapse first, best time to get the truth, even when we can fix, even when we can avoid making the wrong choices, when we can to avoid stuck, plastered in intractable situations, or spend an entire lifetime. Here then is the moment of truth. By that time we have to be measured. This text proclaims the need for wind, rivers, rain, we are wearing. Why? Why should we prepare for the day when we must give account of our lives. Our life is not so. A little thing. It is an eternal destiny. It is something related to infinity. We have life once and for all. In this life we \u200b\u200bshould respond and we will answer what? The examination which brings us to remain at or below the threshold of beauty, fullness. If we do not have the beauty that comes out.

The trials of life allow us to look where is our foundation - This text should be welcomed because it will give us wisdom to make us look at our present challenges as challenges providential. Our problems as things that we both started in order to put ourselves in the truth. Holy and blessed is the cross because it brings out our inner light. It tells us what we truly live. Under pressure, react in such a way so as to know us and find out what in our life was the basis of fake and what is the foundation solid.
founded the rock is about digging in the sand, until you find the rock - Basing on the stone house means dig until you find the stone. Found the house on the sand does not mean digging and start now. It means to be superficial or deep to be, or be true, be aware. We can not build anything on an unstable foundation. That collapse, which does not hold. We can build something good only on solid foundations. Solid foundation is faith in God's solid foundation is the truth about ourselves before God
